The HSBC Emerging Talent team leads HSBC’s junior talent hiring – attracting, recruiting and developing over 3500 hires annually across c14 markets.

We are currently seeking an individual to join this team in the role of Emerging Talent Inclusion Advisor – 9 month fixed term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the Emerging Talent DEI Agenda and contribute to changing the composition of our workforce.
Leading out on high profile external partnerships such as with Merky Foundation and with Zero Gravity to raise the profile of HSBC amongst diverse student groups.
Delivering a number of initiatives globally aimed at demystifying HSBC opportunities to appeal to diverse talent.
In this role you will:-
1. Review and analyse existing practices and recruitment data to determine where there are opportunities for improvement.
2. Own relationships with key inclusion vendors and external partners to deliver pre-agreed runway of activity.
3. Lead management of key inclusion initiatives such as to elevate the outcomes from these investments.
4. Facilitate feedback sessions and focus groups both with internal and external candidates to shape future agenda.
5. Act as SME to educate and influence internal and external stakeholders.
6. Build strong connections with internal Employee Resource Groups and DEI teams finding opportunities to co-collaborate on activity.
7. Create a more joined up approach across the business lines in how we attract, hire and engage diverse talent.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
1. Strong understanding of student preferences, gathered inhouse or externally.
2. Strong understanding of student recruitment approaches.
3. Strong understanding of data and analysis which is a core skill needed within the role.
4. Experience demonstrating a passion for change and continuous improvement.
5. Process knowledge – Ability to quickly understand existing practices and processes in place.
6. Experience working with dynamic plans in a fast-moving environment, continually assessing priorities and progress and adjusting course where necessary, being sure to maintain the buy-in of stakeholders.
The base location for this role will be London and with a hybrid working pattern.
