This company is at the forefront of innovative projects, specialising in decarbonisation and renewable energy, while delivering bespoke automation, PLC/HMI programming, and cutting-edge solutions. With an exciting portfolio of projects in 2025 and beyond, they are looking for a talented Control Systems Engineer to join their team and contribute to pioneering engineering solutions in the energy and industrial sectors. Control Systems Engineer Requirements Minimum 5 years experience in automation software systems. Degree in Engineering/Computing or equivalent experience (time-served apprenticeship). Expertise in PLC hardware and software (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi). Experience in integrating multiple sub-systems into automation systems. Knowledge of gas analytical and metering systems is advantageous. Key Activities Develop functional, reliable automation software programs. Collaborate with the commissioning team to conduct comprehensive software testing. Provide guidance and training to Junior Engineers on best practices. Work closely with on-site engineers to improve project standards, considering maintenance and decommissioning. Support pre-FAT and FAT processes to resolve software-related issues.
