We are looking for a brilliant Emerging Talent Advisor to join our Kier Construction Emerging Talent Team to provide pivotal support in the delivery of our Emerging Talent (ET) programmes. You'll bring curiosity, energy and enthusiasm to the role, and work with key stakeholders – on our sites and in our offices - to make sure our programmes are fit for purpose, and you will act as a trusted advisor to our managers – as well as the Emerging Talent colleagues. Location : Rushden, hybrid working available, with travel to offices and sites all over the UK as required Hours : 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us What will you be responsible for? As an Emerging Talent Advisor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Conduct regular check-ins with the Emerging Talent population (Graduates, Apprentices and placement students) to monitor progress and provide pastoral support. Track the development and progression of ET employees, ensuring high levels of engagement, retention, and satisfaction. Act as the central point of contact for ET queries, responding and dealing with queries efficiently using your expert knowledge. Establish strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders such as the HR teams, managers, business leaders and professional bodies etc. Stay up to date with emerging trends in early career recruitment, development practices, and industry changes. What are we looking for? This role of Emerging Talent Advisor is great for you if have: A Genuine passion for supporting and developing Emerging Talent with previous experience and knowledge of operational delivery for Emerging Talent programmes. Knowledge of HR policies and processes. Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power Point as well as desire to learn and master new apps to allow us to work more effectively and efficiently. Ability to create reports and analyse data with strong attention to detail.
