Hurworth School is looking to recruit an outstanding Teacher to join our team. We seek an ambitious, energetic, and committed teacher who will broaden the learning experiences of our pupils. The successful candidate will teach and support young people who may have autism, emotional behavioral difficulties, ADHD, and complex needs.

The school educates up to 80 students aged 5 to 19, with a dedicated primary provision and separate middle and upper schools.

We require the candidate to be a qualified teacher, preferably with experience supporting young people with SEN, and possess the following qualities:

* Communication – Effective communication is vital to understand and meet the needs of our young people and to ensure teamwork among staff.
* Organisation – Experience in planning, organizing, and delivering well-structured lessons tailored to pupils' needs, and monitoring their progress.
* Caring – A naturally caring and compassionate approach is essential.
* Attentiveness – Being attentive to the individual needs of each young person is crucial, as no two days are the same.
