An experienced and knowledgeable ESOL practitioner is required to manage and develop the English for Speakers of Other Languages provision delivered by Croydon Adult Learning and Training (CALAT) through the effective and skilled management of the ESOL delivery team to ensure the continued high standard of CALAT’s ESOL provision across the borough. CALAT is a large, dynamic and high-quality adult education provider ( graded Good by OFSTED ) with ESOL provision offering pre-entry to level 2 courses. Applicants should have excellent people management skills and in-depth knowledge of ESOL and Adult Learning delivery models This role presents a significant challenge as ESOL constitutes 50% of CALAT’s adult learning offer and as a result has a large cohort of experienced and skills tutors to be managed.
