We are seeking a highly skilled Satcom Technical Lead to join our team at Next Ventures.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical analysis of Satcom systems, with a focus on Mil Satcom land terminals used in hostile conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analysis and documentation of detailed requirements
* Generation and flow down of technical requirements
* Technical negotiations with suppliers
* Project cost modelling, planning, and procurement
* Verification and final acceptance of systems
Requirements:
* Mil Satcom Land Terminals background with circa. 10 years' experience
* Satellite Communication Link Budget Analysis in benign and jammed conditions
* Operational analysis for Satcom systems including data rate demand and capacity
* Knowledge of Resilient Modem waveforms within a Mil Satcom environment
* Domain knowledge of IP and Serial Baseband equipment, Crypto's and Key management concepts
