In this role you will:
* Work with our team and other capabilities to examine and test a range of electronic and mechanical devices in a laboratory environment to ensure a full understanding of the device is gained.
* Engage with customers (both internal and external) to understand requirements.
* Deliver high quality technical information in an agreed format that is clear, concise and understandable by both technical and non-technical customers and colleagues.
* Maintain accurate case notes and supply reliable information to databases.

Person specification
We are looking for someone who has:
* A specialist knowledge of general electronics covering analogue, digital and radio frequency techniques. Familiar with standard electronics laboratory test equipment.
* Experience of modern digital systems, microcontrollers and associated peripherals. Including the use of implementation software and compilers.
* Proven analytical skills and keen attention to detail whilst maintaining agreed timelines.
* The ability to challenge and probe to identify appropriate changes that will deliver results.
Qualifications:
Degree, NVQ or equivalent experience in working with electronics or engineering.

Sifting will take place week commencing the 14th April 2025 with interviews to be arranged from the 5th May 2025, interview will consist of a combined technical & behavioural interview, interviews will be held at Porton Down, Salisbury.
