A leading name in high-end refurb, fit out and construction is seeking a skilled and experienced Intermediate Technical Services Manager with a balanced knowledge on mechanical and electrical to join thier dynamic team in London. Role Overview: As an Senior Technical Services Manager with a 50/50 split on mechanical & electrical knowledge, you will oversee the M&E aspects of the high-end fit out projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical and electrical systems. You will collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution from planning through to completion. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and coordinate all mechanical & electrical services activities on fit out projects
2. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
3. Conduct site inspections and quality assessments specific to M&E installations
4. Liaise with M&E subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues promptly.
5. Provide M&E expertise and guidance to project teams throughout the project life cycle.
6. Monitor the installation and performance of M&E systems, identifying areas for improvement to optimize efficiency and sustainability.
7. Uphold a strong commitment to safety protocols, particularly in relation to M&E work, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
Requirements:
8. Nice to have - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
9. Background as a Technical Services Manager within a consultancy, with all rounded experience in M&E
10. In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical building systems and electrical systems
11. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
12. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, particularly in M&E disciplines.
13. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and decision-making skills.
14. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project management and M&E analysis.
