Teaching Personnel are currently working with one of our partnership schools in the RCT area to secure a Food Technology Teacher to cover a long-term ongoing sickness. The successful applicant will be teaching lessons in mainly Food Technology & Nutrition to students of KS3 & KS4. Interviews are being held over the next 2 weeks.
Food Technology Teacher Requirements:
* Be an FQT wanting a new challenge or NQT looking to broaden their experience
* Hold QTS
* Experience teaching Food Technology to KS3 & KS4
* Fully enhanced DBS available on the Update Service
* Registered with the EWC
* Provide 2 school-based references
This is an exciting position for a Secondary Food Tech Teacher who is looking for work on a full-time basis as of immediately. The school has indicated they are looking for someone who has experience delivering Food Technology education; however, they are willing to consider a driven and enthusiastic NQT who is wanting to gain experience working within the Secondary sector.
The successful applicant can expect to pre-plan, prepare, and deliver lessons to KS3 & KS4 students within the school as well as working as part of a team within the Food Tech department who will assist in providing engaging and valuable lessons in line with the school’s curriculum. The school has indicated there is the potential of additional training and mentoring throughout the role to ensure the successful applicant is comfortable and able to perform at their optimum level.
