Due to continued growth, we wish to recruit a Trade Counter Sales Person to join our Makerfield Branch.
Your key responsibilities as Trade Counter Sales Person will include:
1. Dealing with all retail and trade sales enquiries
2. Identifying and assisting customers with product selection
3. Cash handling and the operation of a computerised stock system
4. A commitment to high standards of customer service
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
1. Experience of working on a trade counter or customer facing role
2. Committed and passionate about providing excellent customer service
3. Target driven with a genuine passion for the customer
4. Ability to work both individually and as part of a branch team
5. Knowledge or a keen interest in building materials, hardware and timber
This role will involve working Saturdays as part of a rota basis.
Some knowledge of building materials, hardware and timber would be preferable but not crucial as full training will be provided during your induction period.
