The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional B2B Senior Sales Manager to join our team. This role offers a great career opportunity within a leading global industrial automation technology company, part of a multi-billion dollar group, to drive further growth with manufacturing companies across a large UK region.
The Regional Sales Manager position offers stimulating challenges in a dynamic environment, autonomy, and excellent career development opportunities within an expanding business with Fortune 500 pedigree.
Reporting to the UK & Ireland Commercial Manager, the Regional Sales Manager will travel 2-3 days a week across the territory (south of Cheshire/Yorkshire), meeting regularly with a team of 7 Account Managers, existing and potential manufacturing customers, and key internal stakeholders at our Huntingdon & Nottinghamshire offices.
The sales team is currently ahead of target, but there remains ample opportunity for growth. The Regional Sales Manager will inspire, coach, and mentor the team, promote a solution-based sales approach for equipment, finance, and service agreements, and ensure the execution of the entire sales cycle to the highest standards.

The Ideal Candidate
* Inspirational Senior B2B Sales Leader with a track record of helping solution sales teams realize their full potential, ideally in manufacturing environments such as food & beverages.
* A natural leader who fosters rigor, standard work, and excellence. Focused on KPIs & data, with strengths in funnel management, sales administration, forecasting, reporting, and coaching.
* Excellent communication skills and strong commercial awareness. A proactive problem solver who quickly identifies and mitigates risks and finds solutions.
* Willing to travel across the region with occasional overnight stays.
* Technical or engineering understanding is advantageous, as the role involves engaging with manufacturing and operational leaders, often on the shop floor.
