The apprentice’s role is to provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external customers, by using tools or systems to problem solve and trouble-shoot routine and non-routine IT related problems. Duties include installation of software and hardware and supporting business critical systems, operating system and applications.
Duties
1. Answering the telephone, responding to emails and updating requests
2. Provide first line analysis of all IT issues and ensure that SLAs are met
3. Keep customers informed of the status and progress of tasks and update tickets
4. Complete other service-related tasks as required by your manager
5. Attend all learning events and complete all apprenticeship assignments to a good standard, and on-time
About you
To be an IT Support Apprentice, you must be a tech enthusiast with 5 GCSEs (ideally A* – C, 4-9) including Maths and English.
This 18-month Apprenticeship has a salary of £15, per year. You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills.
Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 3 IT qualifications.
