Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate individual to fill a crucial role as an Food Technology Teacher at a secondary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) located in Wigan. This exciting position is available to start in January 2025, offering a long-term to permanent placement for the ideal candidate.
The school is a Secondary Alternative Provision in Wigan which provides full time education for 90 pupils who are not able to access mainstream education.
The role would involve teaching all aspects of English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 classes. Due to the nature of the setting, class sizes are small, with a maximum of 7/8 pupils in each classroom, with at least 2 support staff on hand in each classroom too.
Newly qualified or recently qualified teachers / ECTs are welcome to apply for this role, with capacity in school to support through induction period.
