As the Deputy Manager, you’ll be supporting the Registered Operations Manager with the day to day running of a high quality and consistent domiciliary care service. You’ll lead a committed and competent staff team on a day to day basis, ensuring that care is delivered to a high standard and that the business flourishes. They’re in an enviable position of being fully staffed with care workers, and the office staff rarely cover any care - leaving you and your team to focus on your day to day roles. The Deputy Manager role Supervise and support the office staff so that they are well-equipped to deliver their roles to a high standard. Monitoring of services to ensure that care is delivered at the right time and for the correct duration and that carers are skilled to meet the needs of the client. Deputise on a regular basis when the Registered Manager is out of the office Ensure that problems or issues are identified and resolved promptly Hold regular team meetings and supervision with staff Ensure that CQC KLOE’s are being met and complete effective quality monitoring Implementation of new care packages Develop good relationships with the commissioning teams Undertake personal training to develop your skills ready for a Registered Manager role What we’re looking for; An experienced Deputy Manager / Care Manager with a background in managing domiciliary care / homecare staff Somebody with the ability to manage the office effectively in the absence of the Registered Manager Somebody with the drive and determination to progress into the Registered Manager role in future. Good knowledge of CQC standards QCF 3 / NVQ 3 in social care, and willingness to complete level 5 Driver with own vehicle What are you waiting for?
