DUTIES:
Preparing bills of quantities and schedules of works for pricing.
Preparing and sending out Sub-contract enquires.
Subcontract comparison and preparation of subcontract agreements.
Attending, contributing to and taking minutes of meetings as required.
Preparing Valuations with Clients, agreeing amounts for payment and ensuring invoices areprepared and issued.
Re-measuring work using site measurement and measurement from drawings.
Re-measurement of subcontract applications and processing subcontract payments.
Informing Sub-Contractors of Contract variations.
Valuing variations.
Assisting with reporting on Contract Performance via monthly cost/value reconciliations and
Agreeing Client and Sub-Contract Final Accounts.
Monitoring site costs on a weekly basis providing feedback to construction team as required.
To ensure work is carried out in accordance with the Companys Health and Safety Policy.
To ensure work is carried out in accordance with the Companys Quality Manual.

Managing Quantity Surveyors and Junior Quantity Surveyors
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
* Relevant qualifications within Quantity Surveying
* Previous relevant experience working for a recognised civil engineering main contractor
* Water and utilities experience preferred but not essential
* Experience of managing NEC Contracts
* Ability to work under pressure
* Proficient
* Methodical approach
* Numerate
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Written and oral communication skills
* Computer literacy
