Reports to: Global Head of Operations The role This role represents a fantastic opportunity for a forward-thinking media professional to become a trusted advisor to clients and a leader within the WPP network. You will be part of the Mars global team, playing a core role in delivering one of the most advanced CPG media transformation agendas, Media 2025. In particular, your focus will be on leading our operations function globally to ensure that we meet the demands of the transformation through the best utilization of tools, supply data, and efficient internal and external processes. This role offers significant opportunities: Working for one of the largest FMCG accounts, pioneering consumer marketing. Collaborating with an extremely diverse, international group of individuals both at Essencemediacom, GroupM and the client. Creating a market-leading operations function. This role has overall responsibility for the quality of the data we provide to Mars, the effectiveness of the deployment of key initiates to our markets and oversight of the tools and systems we need in place to effectively do this. The role also has a key responsible in supporting the team to showcase the delivery or and the impact from their work and provides thought leadership on how the operation function supports the ongoing delivery of the Mars media transformation. Accountabilities Reporting and Data Governance - Taking ownership of the cleanliness and accuracy quality of the media planning and buying data Showcasing the progress of the global team and value delivered to Mars : Track and report on global senior leadership team's scope delivery Coordinate delivery of scope review sessions Technology Maintenance and Deployment Support the deployment of Key Mars Initiatives, as required People Management - Managing a team of four individuals, including setting roles & responsibilities, personal growth plans, control of deliverables, and motivation. Incremental Scope Projects - Create, negotiate and implement out of scope projects with senior stakeholders at Mars Work with commercial & legal team on contracts & NDA required with respect to all data requirements. Working with regional markets, local teams & activation teams to ensure there is consistency in workflows across all segments and markets Personal Attributes Understanding of the modern media tools & tech landscape. Previous media planning experience is preferred or at least understanding of media planning workflows is required Excellent written & oral communications skills Extensive operational experience is essential. Project management experience is essential. Strong organizational skills are essential. Experience in rolling out global initiatives. Proficiency in people management and development.
