Otis is growing, and we are recruiting an Account Manager to cover the Cambridgeshire area, reporting to the Operating Territory Leader.
The main goal of the role is to achieve sales growth by creating and managing customer relationships through sales achievement, situational problem solving, and comprehensive account management.
On a typical day, you will:
1. Manage a portfolio of lift/elevator units by maintaining good relationships with existing customers.
2. Serve as the primary contact for timely resolution of customer inquiries.
3. Develop build-on repair and modernization sales through networking, bids, and tenders.
4. Create your own sales strategy to meet sales targets while ensuring profitability.
5. Use Otis’ sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results.
6. Conduct sales negotiations and close deals, ensuring on-time payments.
7. Collaborate with team members, including other sales representatives and field colleagues.
What you will need to be successful:
* A strong background in sales and/or account management, ideally within service/construction or technical sales.
* Experience in selling technical products requiring customer consultation.
* A strong customer and service orientation, with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills to develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
* You are target-focused and able to work at pace in a demanding, complex, corporate organization.
