Responsibilities
The role of Supply Chain Performance Manager leads a small team and sits within UK Operations, Customer Business, reporting to the Performance & Reporting Manager.
As Supply Chain Performance Manager, you will lead the strategy toward more efficient, cost-effective processes during the lifecycle of the meter, from installation to removal. You will play a key part in driving our roadmap of improvements to help deliver the best possible experience to our customers.
You will be focussed on:
* Invoice cost assurance: Verifying and validating the costs associated with invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
* Continuous improvement: Enhancing budget modelling and tracking costs to highlight potential financial risks and manage them proactively.
* Working with other departments across the business, you will ensure robust processes and procedures are in place that contribute to the delivery of ScottishPower’s strategic objectives.
This is an opportunity for a proactive professional with strong stakeholder and leadership skills to join our growing team.
What you’ll bring
To be successful in a role you will need to demonstrate as minimum:
* Knowledge of procurement and contracting processes, with previous involvement in commercial tender events and contract disputes/negotiations.
* Ability to negotiate and influence at all levels of the business, including the external supply chain and regulatory bodies.
* Project management experience: Planning, organizing and executing projects within the supply chain.
* Ability to analyse and interpret complex data trends to generate insights and make data-driven decisions.
* Knowledge and understanding of the UK Energy Market and Smart Metering Infrastructure.
