An overview of the role
The key purpose of the Regional Account Manager role is to maximise order intake, protect and develop customer relationships, promote Open GI’s products and services, and acquire new name customers.
Your key responsibilities
* Maximise order intake
* Protect existing customer base and recurring revenue
* Acquisition of new name customers where appropriate
* Consistently deliver monthly margin targets
* Promote and sell the Company, all its products and services to customers
* Represent the Company in a fitting and appropriate manner
* Manage and develop customer relationships
Requirements:
Qualifications
* GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths at grade C or above (essential)
* Degree level (advantageous)
* Full valid driving license with no more than 3 current penalty points
Experience
* IT Consultative Sales experience (essential)
* Account Management experience (essential)
* New name customer sales (advantageous)
* Insurance industry knowledge (advantageous)
* Broking experience (advantageous)
Skills
* Essential sales skills (negotiating, closing, objection handling, forecasting, opportunity qualification, etc.)
* PC literate with working knowledge of MS Office product set
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Driven self-starter with ability to work independently under minimal supervision
