Job Overview:
WACA CIO is seeking a Temporary, Part Time Centre Administrator, who is an approachable and enthusiastic team player to join our friendly staff at Waterlooville Community Centre. The successful candidate will have a diverse role working for and alongside the Centre Manager to ensure that WACA CIO continues to deliver its current high standard of service to the community of Waterlooville and surrounding areas, which will include Newlands Community Hall. The role is for 15 hours per week, Monday - Wednesday, 10.00 am - 3.00 pm. (Initially for a three month contract).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Communication with stakeholders through email, telephone and in person.
2. Working in the reception office.
3. Dealing with enquiries as appropriate.
4. Maintaining administration systems including bookings, staff rotas, additional hours.
5. Maintaining finance systems including invoicing, credit control and payroll.
6. Dealing with maintenance issues.
7. Other general office duties as required.
Skills and Attributes:
1. Good knowledge of working in an office and with administration systems.
2. Proficient in computer software packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
3. Ability to work alone, on own initiative, set priorities and meet deadlines.
4. Ability to communicate clearly and with courtesy face to face and over the telephone.
5. Accounting software experience.
6. Resourceful and willing to learn all the necessary skills to cover for the Centre Manager during periods of sickness or holiday.
Full training will be given.

Pay: £12.10 per hour

Minimum Requirements:
* Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.
* GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
* Customer service: 5 years (required).
* Administrative experience: 5 years (required).
