As an international company, we are looking for a Civil Structural Design Engineer who will work in United Kingdom.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Structural Engineering from a reputable university.
* Professional accreditation (e.g., Chartered Engineer status) is preferred.
* Proven experience in structural engineering within the renewables sector.
* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
* Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD Pro, SAP2000) and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Civil Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of renewable energy projects. This role involves ensuring structural integrity, compliance with UK regulations, and collaboration with various departments to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop structural plans for renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and other sustainable energy sources.
* Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
* Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
* Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
* Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the safety and stability of structures.
* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate structural designs with overall project plans.
* Manage and oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
* Conduct inspections and provide technical support during construction phases.
* Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with structural designs and construction processes.
* Prepare and submit necessary documentation for planning and building permits.
* Participate in project meetings and provide updates on structural engineering aspects.
* Support the continuous improvement of design and construction processes.
