The role is a permanent post, working 40 hours per week: Monday to Friday. This is a field-based role and will require travel. You will need to be able to access our Watton office to collect the company vehicle and work around our customers properties in Thetford and surrounding areas. In this job role as a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will carry out and assist with grounds maintenance related tasks to ensure the places in which our customers live are maintained to a high standard. Working within a customer-focused team, you’ll efficiently ensure all tasks are carried out in a manner that ensures we are spending our time and money wisely. Your typical work activities include using strimmers, ride on mowers, hedge cutting, litter picking and spraying. You’ll maintain high standards and take responsibility for all equipment and health and safety requirements. Applications are welcomed for the role of Grounds Maintenance Operative from those with previous experience within the horticultural industry, with the ability to operate the relevant equipment. With good problem-solving and communication skills, as well as basic competency in Microsoft applications such as Outlook and Teams, you will have a proactive approach and I can work diligently within a team.
