International Tax Structuring & Advisory – Senior Manager or Director

Your Role
Reporting directly to the Group Head of Tax, this role encompasses all direct tax advisory matters, excluding transfer pricing. The position is based in the Group’s London headquarters, with flexible working arrangements available. Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting M&A activity and other business-led initiatives.
* Advising on external and internal financing arrangements.
* Managing legal entity rationalisation projects.
* Handling tax authority audits and enquiries.
* Addressing Pillar 2 and CFC issues.
* Overseeing permanent establishment matters and flexible working policies.
* Managing cross-border payments, withholding tax, and external contract tax implications.
* Collaborating with tax reporting, transfer pricing, and indirect tax teams.
* Supporting half-year and year-end audits.
* Assisting the Group Head of Tax in developing and maintaining the Group’s tax strategy.
* Managing relationships with external advisors and overseeing fees and budgets.
* Partnering with Finance, Treasury, Legal, and operational teams to provide holistic tax advice.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of 8-10 years’ corporate tax experience.
* ACA or CTA qualification.
* Significant experience advising on international jurisdictions and cross-border transactions.
* Big 4 training (preferred but not essential).
* Industry and/or in-house experience (preferred but not essential).
Key competencies include being a self-starter with the ability to communicate complex tax matters effectively to a commercial audience.
