About The Role As a Respite Services Night Support Worker, you’ll play your part in helping people lead fulfilling, dignified lives. Based at our Respite Unit in Cheltenham, The Vicarage, you’ll provide excellent care for adults with learning disabilities during the night. Working alongside Respite Services Coordinators and Team Leaders, you’ll keep an eye on guests’ health and wellbeing, as well as administering medication. Meanwhile, we’ll give you all the support you need to thrive in your role. With a commitment to quality, you’ll be careful to follow care plans, risks assessments, policies and procedures. You’ll also encourage people to make their own care choices and be as independent as possible. Plus, you’ll spot opportunities to take our service from strength to strength. You’ll be integral to our team, and your contribution hugely valued. About You As well as a Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care, or the relevant experience, it goes without saying that you’ll be approachable and have excellent communication skills, but you’ll also show compassion and respect to everyone you meet. With your flexible and warm approach, you’ll be confident working with a diverse range of people with different needs.
