Developing & implementing Social Media Strategies that nurture & grow Bird & Blends community of fans. Role Overview We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Content Manager to join our Digital team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing campaign and BAU (Business As Usual) content activity across all our Organic Social channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, and YouTube. You will collaborate closely with our Brand Studio Team to create and manage innovative and engaging content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and sales growth. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Management : Collaborate with the Brand Studio Team to brief and create still and video content for both BAU and campaign purposes. Adapt existing content and create templates tailored to each social media platform. Develop educational content that supports product launches and drives sales growth. Leverage knowledge of social media trends, products, and current events to produce timely and effective reactive content. Social Media Strategy : Develop and implement a comprehensive social strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives. Continuously monitor and optimise the performance across key metrics, including reach, engagement, and sales. Own and manage the Organic Social calendar, translating brand campaigns into channel-specific activities. Community Engagement : Monitor and respond to customer inquiries on our Facebook ‘Brew SocieTEA’ page, collaborating with the CX team for order support and the Brand Team for community engagement. Work closely with the internal CX team to keep them informed of all social media activities and potential impacts on customer interactions. Performance Analysis & Reporting : Analyse the effectiveness of social media content and use insights to inform future campaigns and activities. Report on key performance metrics, providing actionable insights and learnings to the wider team. Competitor & Trend Monitoring : Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies, identifying opportunities for new channels and activities. Monitor competitor social activity, sharing insights and identifying opportunities and threats with the wider team. Collaborations & Partnerships : Work closely with the Digital team to ensure content alignment across CRM and Paid Media touchpoints. Oversee social media competitions and charity takeovers to enhance brand awareness. Collaborate with influencers to build relationships, support our paid and gifting strategy, and create innovative influencer content. Mentorship & Team Collaboration : Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support without direct line management responsibilities. Run our internal Inspiration & CommuniTEA chat group to inspire and gather ideas from team members. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Organic Social Engagement : Track and improve engagement rates across all Organic Social platforms. Ensure our social channels Surprise & Delight our customers, particularly within the Brew SocieTEA Facebook group. Followers & Fans : Increase the number of followers and fans across all Organic Social platforms, ensuring steady and sustainable growth. Organic Social Traffic : Monitor the volume and quality of Organic Social traffic to the website, focusing on conversion rates and bounce rates. Fan Engagement : Develop KPIs to measure fan engagement, with an emphasis on enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty through meaningful interactions on our social channels. As our Social Media Lead, you’ll be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience: Essential Minimum 2 years’ experience of managing a Brands social media presence across Instagram, Facebook & TikTok. A creative eye to capture always-on content that inspires & provides service to our community. Exceptional copywriting skills to deliver our tone of voice across multiple channels as well as excellent grammar, attention to detail & proofreading skills. Have a deep understanding of the various social media channels, their individual best practices, including understanding their unique audiences, tone of voice, visual content requirements & any latest trends. An analytical & questioning mindset - always evaluating success & KPIs of marketing campaigns. Questioning the purpose & desired outcomes of all activity as well as the intended audience.
