Your impact: The Head of QHSE, will lead the development and execution of our QHSE policies, systems, and programs. This strategic role focuses on ensuring compliance, enhancing safety, minimizing environmental impact, and promoting quality excellence. We're looking for a leader who can drive a culture of continuous improvement, swiftly address offshore challenges, and elevate our safety standards across the organization. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, Engineering, or related field. Significant high-level experience in a QHSE leadership role, preferably in in the subsea or offshore engineering industry. In-depth knowledge of QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices. Certified in relevant QHSE standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Proven experience in implementing and maintaining QMS and EHS management systems. The Job: Strategic Planning and Implementation : Develop, implement and oversee QHSE strategy and policies in line with business goals. Set annual objectives, KPIs, and manage risk mitigation for continuous improvement. Leadership and Team Management : Lead, mentor, and develop the QHSE team; advise senior management and Executive Committee on QHSE matters while fostering a culture of safety, accountability and quality. Operational Performance and Responsiveness : Monitor and analyse QHSE performance metrics to identify trends, measure operational efficiency and adapt strategies. Swiftly respond to incidents, and implement corrective actions to ensure ongoing safety and quality. Exhibit agility in managing urgent situations. Operational Safety Support : Collaborate on safety initiatives, to ensure the effective management of safety programs, cultural monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives. Drive incident reporting, investigations and root-cause analysis processes, ensuring findings are documented, shared and integrated into future practices. Promote safety culture to enhance employee engagement and accountability, continually assessing and reinforcing it in offshore operations. Compliance and Standards : Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations and implement and maintain ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and related certifications. Liaise with regulatory bodies and certification agencies; manage external audits. Environmental Stewardship : Drive environmental programs that minimise ecological footprint of offshore drilling operations, in compliance with environmental laws and industry best practices. Oversee waste management, spill prevention and emissions monitoring efforts ensuring alignment with company sustainability goals. Quality Assurance: Manage and improve QMS to ensure consistent product/service quality. Monitor quality performance and identify improvements. Collaborate with teams to resolve issues, address complaints, and implement corrective actions. Training & Reporting : Promote training to uphold safety, health, environmental, and quality standards. Ensure employee compliance with QHSE policies and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Reporting and Communication: Develop and submit regular reports to executive leadership on QHSE performance, trends, incidents and initiatives. Share QHSE updates and best practices to keep employees informed and engaged. Serve as the main contact for external stakeholders on QHSE-related matters. Perform other related duties as needed.
