Role Overview:
We seek a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure these students can access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
* Provide in-class support to students with SEN.
* Assist in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Help adapt and differentiate lessons to meet students' needs.
* Support social and emotional development.
* Contribute to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external agencies to support student progress.
Requirements:
* Passion for education and working with young people.
* Experience with children with SEN is desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
* Ability to work effectively in a team.
