Order values are varied and are likely to range from £1,000 to the £10,000's. You will have access to approximately 1000 active accounts, and you'll enjoy the support of our back-office team who will cover you with producing quotes, marketing support and more. Your main responsibilities will be: · 60% account management and up-sell, 40% new business development. · Presenting and demonstrating products. · Regular face-to-face customer meetings. · Closing opportunities and building long-term repeat business. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager - Joinery, Fenestration, Construction As our Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager you'll have a proven track record of closing industrial type sales and developing long-term client accounts across the South East. You may have owned your own joinery business or sold within the timber, PVC, Aluminum door & window sector. Above all you'll bring the drive and self-motivation needed to build your (and our) reputation throughout your territory. In additional you will: · Be an expert at planning your time, to maximise your time in front of your customers · Ideally bring previous experience of selling to the construction, fenestration, and / or joinery sectors · Be competent with IT systems and CRM packages (we use NetSuite and full training will be provided) · Be used to working as part of a team, supporting others and building positive internal relationships THE COMPANY: Based in the South West of the country, we're a growing family business that's been delivering the highest quality door and window hardware for over 20 years.
