Primary School is seeking to appoint a confident, well-organised and enthusiastic administrator to work in our busy school office. The hours will be 8.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday. The successful person will be expected to be able to work from their own initiative as well as under the direction of the School Business Manager. The role is the initial point of contact for visitors and provides routine clerical support across a range of duties taking responsibility for designated areas. The main areas of responsibility are: Dealing with telephone and face to face enquiries General clerical support Collect and count cash and cheques received and maintain accurate records Maintain and update school files, including staff and pupil records Process and raise invoices Receive goods and other items Excellent interpersonal skills are required as well as administrative skills and an ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience of working in a school office with SIMS and other school’s applications would be an advantage but is not essential as training can be provided. The position is full-time although a job share would be considered. Audlem St. James’ C.E.
