Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier with presence UK wide.
The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts in the South of Wales and parts of the South West, for instrumentation, valve and control products such as actuators, valves, flow meters, pressure regulators, sensors, filters, gaskets, seals, and related instrumentation / flow control products and systems.

Role Responsibilities:
1. Develop new business opportunities and manage key accounts in the South of Wales and parts of the South West, for instrumentation, valve and control products via distribution channels and OEM customers.
2. Maintain instrumentation and flow control product sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
3. Work remotely/field-based covering South Wales and parts of the South West UK with regular visits to customer sites.
4. Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements:
1. Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within a mechanical engineering environment.
2. Experience selling mechanical engineering products/systems related to instrumentation and flow control.
3. Full product training provided.
4. Experienced Mechanical/Service Engineers looking for progression into sales are encouraged to apply.
5. Full clean driving license.
6. Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the South of Wales and parts of the South West UK.
