Job Description: Clerical Officer in Ophthalmology Department
The Ophthalmology department requires an experienced clerical officer to work with the cataract unit team. You will be dealing with members of the public, patients, and staff within the ophthalmology department of NHS Fife.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle multiple telephone calls from general practitioners, opticians, patients, and other healthcare organizations.
* Navigate around Trakcare and organise appointments efficiently.
* Report directly to the Senior Charge Nurse of Ophthalmology.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Excellent telephone communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and organise appointments effectively.
Additional Information:
The salary for this position is pro-rata based on part-time hours.
