As a Physiotherapist at our Brighton Hospital and Haywards Heath Hospital, you’ll have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. You also have excellent manual therapy skills, and you’re committed to developing as a practitioner. You’re a confident communicator, skilled at engaging with all kinds of people.
Nuffield Health is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join the team at Brighton Hospital and Haywards Heath Hospitals. You will see a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions from sports to workplace-related injuries and will play a key role in helping our patients achieve, maintain and recover to the level of health and wellbeing that they aspire to. The role is based in the Hospital where you can treat your patients utilizing on-site gym equipment and rehabilitation facilities. You will work within a multidisciplinary team including fitness professionals and clinicians to optimise the health of our patients. You will need to deliver high-quality, effective clinical care. As a Physiotherapist, you will:
* Assess and treat a wide variety of elective orthopedic, genealogical and general surgery patients in an inpatient setting.
* Provide a safe and effective rehabilitation program to optimise their recovery post-surgery.
* Deliver excellent clinical care that is evidence-based, safe, effective, caring, well-led and responsive to our patient’s needs.
* Ensure ongoing monitoring of the standard of treatment provided.
* Be compliant with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes.
As a Physiotherapist, you will have:
* A BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. You will have evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.
* A confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals. A commitment to the use of evidence-based practice, demonstrating excellent manual therapy skills.
* Competent and confident IT user, well-organised with the ability to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner.
* A shared belief in putting people first and providing personalised, holistic healthcare.

At Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital, we work with leading medical Consultants to provide first-class treatments and high standards of care for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of medical and surgical conditions using the latest facilities and technology. We take pride in delivering high standards of patient care to both private patients and the NHS. Our facilities include 44 purpose-built en-suite rooms, three operating theatres and an endoscopy theatre. Other facilities include physiotherapy, health screening, diagnostics and a dental suite. We are located in Woodingdean, on the east side of Brighton with easy access by rail and road, including free parking.
Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital.
Opened in 1993 and close to the centre of Haywards Heath, the Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital provides a wide range of medical services from minor procedures through to major surgical specialties. With three operating theatres – one is laminar flow, comprehensive outpatient facilities including a 3T MRI scanner, an excellent onsite pre-assessment clinic, physiotherapy department and 26 en-suite rooms on the ward.
