A top 40 accountancy firm with a reputation for excellence in private client tax and financial planning is looking for a skilled Tax Associate Director to join their growing team. With offices across the UK, this firm offers a collaborative and supportive work environment, providing high-level tax advice and planning to a diverse client base. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and trusts, covering areas such as income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and complex PAYE coding. Provide strategic tax advice to clients, specializing in inheritance tax (IHT), income tax, and capital gains tax planning. Oversee the preparation and review of Self-Assessment tax returns and other compliance requirements. Prepare in-depth advisory reports on areas like IHT planning, UK trusts, business structures, and wealth preservation strategies. Attend and lead client meetings, managing follow-up actions and ensuring deadlines are met efficiently. Requirements: CTA qualified with a minimum of 5 years in private client tax, ideally with experience managing HNWIs and trusts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and CCH software.
