Location: Hybrid working between our office in Durrington and working from home.

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Finance department supporting the Managing Director of Waste Water and their senior management team to define and deliver a financial strategy that supports Southern Water’s objectives.
Our Senior Finance BP manages all aspects of financial planning, performance, management and improvement within the Waste Water business. The annual budget under management is £0.7billion (£0.2billion operating costs plus £0.5billion of capital investment) so it’s an incredibly exciting time to join us!
With the support of a dedicated team of Finance Business Partners, this team will ensure that all costs within their function are tightly controlled and correctly accounted for and reported, that the return on all aspects of capital and operational investment is maximised; and that the efficiency and productivity of the function continuously improves.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
1. Ensure that robust financial planning and forecasting is in place; support and challenge Waste Water MD and senior management to develop and deliver plans that ensure their financial targets are met
2. Identify financial risks and opportunities across Waste Water, working alongside the management team to develop innovative plans to mitigate risks and exploit opportunities
3. Support the Waste Water MD and senior management teams in the assessment and prioritisation of investment decisions, and the creation of robust business cases
About You
We are keen to hear from experienced Finance professionals with strong stakeholder management skills at Exec level, who are confident with accounting and reporting within a regulated environment.
Our ideal candidate will also be an experienced Manager.

This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our office in Durrington (Worthing) and home.
