The Role: You will work closely with the teaching staff to support students with a range of complex needs, including but not limited to autism and speech and language needs. Your main responsibilities will include: Providing one-to-one support to students, assisting them with their learning and personal development. Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies. Supporting students with activities of daily living, including personal care and mobility assistance. Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Monitoring and recording student progress, and providing feedback to the teaching team. Requirements: Previous experience working with children with complex needs is highly desirable. Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse needs. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently when required. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school environment.
