Responsibilities
1. Participation in the completion of the month end closing process - including prepayments and accruals.
2. VAT return preparation and reconciliation.
3. Analysis of actual costs against forecast and budget.
4. Reporting for Legal Entity, Corporate & Management Teams.
5. Ensure compliance with internal controls and participation in the external audit.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree
Part-qualified or qualified in a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA).
Desired Experience:
Experience in manufacturing environments is beneficial
VAT Returns
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
SAP beneficial
Good written and oral communication skills are required, for example to ensure succinct report generation, effective communication with staff, peer groups, etc across the organisation.
Must be able to work independently and communicate with all levels of the organisation.
Computer literate - knowledge of Word & PowerPoint an advantage.
