Be the Driving Force Behind Production Success Are you an experienced Production Planner with a strong background in the food industry and have advanced Excel skills? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where attention to detail is key? We're looking for a highly organised and analytical Production Planner to join the Supply Chain team. This is a fully on-site role, working 5 days a week (40 hours), with a 5am start time. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing complex planning procedures across 150 SKUs - and growing, ensuring smooth and efficient production schedules that meet customer demand and support the business's strategic goals. What You'll Be Doing: Building and managing daily and long-term production schedules in line with machinery availability and agreed run rates. Working with heavily Excel-based planning systems, utilising functions such as VLOOKUP, IF statements, and range formulas. Continuously reviewing forward forecasts to ensure all products are delivered on time and in full (OTIF). Liaising with the Commercial team to plan for volume peaks, promotions, and product launches. Working closely with Maintenance and Prep teams to ensure materials and machinery are ready when needed. Troubleshooting issues during the planning process and finding solutions quickly. Communicating effectively with the Production team to ensure the correct labour is in place for the following day's plan. Ensuring strict compliance with food safety standards, brand integrity, and Health & Safety regulations. What We're Looking For: Previous experience in a Production Planning role within the food manufacturing industry - this is essential and non-negotiable. Experience in a High Risk environment is highly desirable. Advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUP, IF statements, and range formulas). A strong analytical mindset and a proactive problem solver. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different departments. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
