This role will involve managing training logistics, liaising with key stakeholders, and maintaining accurate training records to meet internal and customer audit requirements. Operating Environment & Working Hours Office based with occasional travel and the opportunity for some homeworking. Whilst the role will be based at either the Hereford site of Tram, the Agriculture Division is a multi-site operation so there will be a requirement to provide support and/or undertake visits to other sites/locations on an occasional basis. Working hours Monday to Friday 0830 - 1700 Your key responsibilities as a Training Officer will include: Ø Source and book training courses, ensuring employees are informed of their training schedules. Ø Responsibility for the delivery of Company Induction for new starters Ø Maintain accurate training records and support evidence collection for internal and customer audits. Ø Conduct Skills and Training GAP analysis to identify development needs. Ø Liaise with Farms,Hatcheries, and Feed Mills to support training requirements as needed. Ø Supporting the delivery of ad-hoc operational training/projects Ø Ensure accurate,comprehensive and up-to-date training records are maintained Ø Ensure coordination and recording of colleague attendance for all mandatory training and development workshops Ø Ensure compliance for mandatory training and provide regular KPI and attendance reporting to Learning and Development Manager What we are looking for in a Training Officer: Essential Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—able to build strong relationships quickly. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Good level of maths and English. Understanding of effective training skills and techniques Previous experience in a similar role within production, manufacturing, or a training-focused environment. Enjoys working collaboratively in a team, but also has ability to work independently when required. Open to change and adaptable Willingness to personally develop Strong typing skills and ability to produce professional documentation. Willingness to travel when required. Qualifications & Experience Desirable CIPD Level 3 Training & Education Level 2 or 3. Administrative qualifications would be advantageous. A formal learning and development qualification Health and Safety Qualification E.g.
