AP Group, Falmouth – Recruitment Administrator (12 month fixed-term contract)

A&P Falmouth are looking for a Recruitment Administrator to join our HR Team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. As Recruitment Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment and onboarding experience for our applicants and new employees.
Who we are:
A&P Falmouth is one of the largest ship-repair facilities in the UK, we provide a complete range of marine repair services thanks to our on-site engineering, electrical, paint and fabrication workshops.
What you will do:
As a Recruitment Administrator, you will be responsible for administrating recruitment and onboarding activity. This will include:
* Drafting and posting job adverts
* Liaising with Line Managers and the HR Team to schedule and coordinate interviews
* Serving as the point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates and feedback
* Conducting background and reference checks as part of the pre-employment process
* Maintaining and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
* Preparing and coordinating induction and onboarding activities
* Helping organise and participate in recruitment events, job fairs and networking events as appropriate
* Processing sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion (GDPR)
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience in an administrative role is essential (in a recruitment-focussed role would be beneficial).
* Knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint etc)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Detail orientated with a focus on accuracy
* Proactive attitude to problem-solving
