Hours: 37.5 hours per week, hybrid working available
This job role also would include working in the payroll department on monthly submissions to HMRC for wages and CIS returns. Experience with processing wages would be preferable, but training can be provided where necessary.
The day-to-day responsibilities for the role include:
* Maintaining client records
* Producing reports for clients
* Managing and submitting client VAT returns
* Processing standard monthly wages
* Assisting with CIS return submissions
This is a full-time role, although someone looking for part-time hours would be considered.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* At least 3 years experience with data entry & bookkeeping
* Experience of Sage 50, Xero, Quickbooks, Iris, Sage Business Cloud an advantage
* Previous experience with payroll software would be preferable (Brightpay, Sage payroll)
* Strong attention to detail
* Exceptional communication skills with a good telephone manner
* Good written and technical skills
* Strong prioritisation and organisation skills
* Ability to handle confidential information
