Job Description: As a Social Worker in the Referral and Assessment Team, you will complete initial assessments, identify risks, and make recommendations for interventions to support children and families. Your role involves working in a fast-paced environment, responding to new referrals, and collaborating with multi-agency professionals.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct initial assessments to identify risks, needs, and required interventions.
* Develop action plans and refer families to appropriate services based on identified needs.
* Work closely with children, families, and professionals to ensure coordinated support.
* Attend child protection conferences and strategy meetings as required.
* Regularly review cases to monitor progress and ensure appropriate interventions.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
* Previous experience in a Referral and Assessment Team or similar social work role is essential.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures.
