SEN Primary Teacher Vacancy – Hertfordshire Position: SEN Primary Teacher Location: Bushey, Hertfordshire Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on experience) Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: Immediate About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Primary Teacher to join our team in Bushey. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering tailored educational programs to primary-aged students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role requires a compassionate individual who can inspire and engage students, fostering both their academic and personal development. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with SEMH. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Implement effective behavior management strategies to promote a positive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including support staff, therapists, and parents, to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching methods as necessary. Person Specification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. Experience working with primary-aged students, particularly those with SEMH needs. Strong understanding of SEMH and effective strategies to support students' emotional and behavioral development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
