The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the service user and mental health professionals to navigate and coordinate services. Interventions will be both social and clinical, to build resilience and improve wellbeing.
This is a key and exciting role, which will suit someone who is innovative, responsive and has the right skills and experience in mental health.
Peer Support Workers are experts by experience of their own recovery. You will be expected to draw on your own experiences of recovery, when appropriate, and will be given training on the most effective way to do this. Therefore, the essential criteria for this role is having had psychosis and ideally support from an Early Intervention team.
You will receive management and clinical supervision, together with group reflective practice, with Avon and Wiltshire Partnership Trust, in addition to tailored support from Second Step.

You must hold a current driving license either a car or motorbike and have access to a vehicle. The ability to travel to several appointments daily is essential.
