Quality Lead/Quality Manager
Are you an experienced Quality professional with a strong background in engineering or manufacturing? We are seeking a motivated and proactive Quality Lead or Quality Manager to champion quality excellence within our operations. Role Responsibilities:
1. Quality Management Leadership: Oversee and enhance compliance with the Business Management System (BMS) across the organization, particularly ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
2. Customer & Supplier Quality Interface: Act as the primary contact for quality-related customer and supplier issues, including returns, rejects, and warranty claims.
3. Non-Conformance & Quality Reporting: Lead in creating high-quality NCR/8D reports to address customer returns and warranty claims.
4. Audits & Compliance: Conduct both internal and external audits, ensuring our operations consistently meet rigorous quality standards.
5. Supplier Coordination: Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure all material quality requirements are fully met.
6. Quality Procedures & Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement quality procedures, standards, and specifications, driving initiatives that enhance efficiency and profitability.
7. Cross-Departmental Support: Partner with Commercial, Engineering, and Purchasing departments, promoting a culture of quality across all functions.
8. Data Analysis & Reporting: Record, analyze, and distribute statistical quality information to support data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Quality Assurance Expertise: Significant QA experience within a manufacturing or engineering setting, with proven leadership in quality management.
2. ISO Standards Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of managing quality systems to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
3. Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and utilize a range of measuring equipment (e.g., Faro arms, CMMs).
4. Documentation Preparation: Familiarity with I.S.I.R. and P.P.A.P. documentation.
5. Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
6. Analytical Skills: Adept at using statistical methods to analyze quality data and drive continuous improvement.
