William Morris Sixth Form, situated in Hammersmith, was established as the country’s first 16–19 comprehensive school. We offer 850 students from West London and beyond an exciting range of academic and vocational courses from foundation learning through to advanced level. WMSF is an over-subscribed, vibrant, inner-city learning community that has the individual student at the heart of everything it does.
The dynamic Science Department at WMSF is looking for a part-time Physics teacher on a temporary basis for one term. The teaching responsibilities would be mainly A level, teaching Physics to both year one and year two students. The role is offered on a part-time basis (2 days a week) for teachers wanting to reduce working hours and concentrate on A level teaching or a teacher looking to return to work with fewer hours and a high interest in A level teaching.
In return, we aim to create a friendly, supportive and open culture in which staff can develop and thrive. Professional development for all staff is taken seriously, and many opportunities are offered both in-house and externally.
