About the Role
Our client is a highly regarded organisation seeking an experienced IT Leader who can lead and build high performing teams to drive innovation and deliver business outcomes. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the organisation’s IT infrastructure strategy, ensuring robust cybersecurity, developing the data warehouse and analytical capabilities, while supporting critical business operations.
This role requires a leader who can empower skilled technical teams, align IT strategies with business objectives, and champion industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership & Culture: Build and foster a high-performing team culture, mentoring and coaching staff to achieve excellence.
* Infrastructure & Operations: Oversee the management and enhancement of IT cloud infrastructure to support business-critical functions.
* Data & Analytics: Oversee the organisation’s information assets, ensuring the data warehouse provides high-quality, accurate, and timely insights. Drive the advancement of analytics capabilities to enhance decision-making and deliver maximum value to stakeholders.
* Cybersecurity & Risk: Lead the delivery of IT security initiatives and risk management frameworks to ensure compliance and resilience.
* IT Strategy & Governance: Develop and implement IT management strategies in alignment with organisational goals.
* Project Delivery: Drive key IT projects across infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk, and data to support operational efficiency and innovation.
About You
* Proven Leadership Experience: A strong background in leading high-performing, technical teams within IT infrastructure and operations.
* Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute IT strategies that align with business priorities.
* Cybersecurity & Risk Expertise: Demonstrated experience in implementing security strategies and risk frameworks, such as NIST CSF and Essential Eight.
* Influential Communicator: Confidence in engaging with Executive Leadership and Board Members, presenting on IT initiatives and capabilities.
