Reed Accountancy have several exciting opportunities for Credit Controllers to join a dynamic finance team. This role is crucial in engaging with both internal and external customers to build strong relationships, minimise bad debts, and maximise cash collection.
Day to Day of the role:
* Proactively engage with customers to secure timely payments and address overdue invoices, ensuring smooth financial operations.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the business to swiftly resolve customer queries, enhancing customer satisfaction and efficiency.
* Manage customer correspondence meticulously, maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts.
* Work closely with team members to provide robust support and drive the achievement of business goals.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in credit control or a similar financial role.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
