Salary: £65,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Company Car

My client is offering a fantastic package for experienced Logistics Sales person to help develop their customer base in the Short-Sea and Ro/Ro sectors. The right candidate will be an experienced and fully established sales-person who has worked previously for a UK based Freight Forwarder or Shipping Line, developing Short-Sea Trade Lanes, Ro/Ro and Container Operations and has great knowledge and experience with UK, EU and International Markets.

Key Responsibilities:
1. To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent ocean freight forwarding services.
2. To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
3. Be the forefront of the company's development by promoting the business to new and existing clients.
4. Develop new and existing Short-Sea Trade Lanes and Ro/Ro Trailer and Container Operations.
Requirements:
1. Customer/Business/Route Development Manager Experience is Essential.
2. Experience working for a UK based Freight Forwarder or Shipping Line.
3. Knowledge and experience within Short-Sea and Ro/Ro sales/operations is Essential.
4. Previous experience working with UK, EU and/or International Markets.
5. Hold a full, clean, UK driving licence.
