Dalkia Engineering boasts a team of high skilled and technical mechanical and electrical installation professionals. We pride ourselves on being the UK’s largest M&E installation business, providing first class service to our customers on a variety of small- and large-scale projects, including healthcare, heritage building, commercial, aviation and more.
We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Electricians and Approved Electricians to join our Industrial division based in Teesside working for various clients within the petrochemical industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician to work on exciting projects, further their career, and be part of an established, growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
* Conduct electrical inspections and diagnostics to identify faults and propose solutions.
* Ensure that all electrical systems are compliant with current building regulations and health & safety standards.
* Work alongside other trades to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Undertake electrical testing and commissioning activities as required.
* Provide professional, clear communication to both clients and team members.
* Carry out routine maintenance tasks and respond to emergency call-outs as needed.
Key Requirements:
* A valid ECS card (gold card)
* A valid CCNSG National Safety Passport
* City & Guilds 2391 testing & inspection
* CompEx 01-04 (preferred but not essential)
* Previous experience in a similar electrical role, ideally within the Industrial sector.
* Sound knowledge of electrical systems and current industry standards.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Full UK driving license.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
