Our trustees are looking to appoint an Educational Psychologist. The role will work as part of a Therapeutic Team which will be led by a Principal Educational Psychologist who will be employed by Ambition Community Trust. This Educational Psychologist role will be employed by Victorious Academies Trust. The Therapeutic team will integrate educational psychologists, school counsellors, and therapists to provide holistic support to our pupils. This team will be dedicated to fostering the mental, emotional, and social wellbeing of our pupils, enabling them to achieve their full academic and personal potential. We aim to create an inclusive and supportive environment that addresses the diverse needs of all pupils, particularly those who are vulnerable or have special educational needs.
By both Trusts collaborating on recruitment, we are ensuring that our psychologists are not working in isolation and have access to a diverse and stimulating workload.
Start: Spring 2025
Hours: This role is permanent, full time 36 hours per week, Term Time Only Plus 4 Weeks. Applications are welcome from candidates who would like a different work pattern; part time applications are welcome.
Salary: Soulbury Point 2 (£44,474) to 7 (£54,609)
Report to: Principal Educational Psychologist

The post is required to enable all children and young people to thrive within our Trust through the development of inclusive practices which will be achieved through working directly with children and young people and their families and through the support and development of our colleagues to be able to deliver appropriate universal and targeted support within our academies.
Supervision will be provided for the role and we expect that relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD) will be undertaken.
Qualifications and Requirements: Applicants must be professionally qualified and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
